The scream of ecstacy
I am beginning it with the end, the end of our exams, the end of the school. Yes, finally we have got over with it after drudging for the past year, but most of it was done during the last two months that we finally surrendered ourselves to the books for one perfect mark sheet. Indeed, the most of us were disciplined. Though, I multi-tasked, took the exams and also made India win each match. I did not miss any game because it was the World Cup. Well, every Indian's prayers were heard by God and now we all hope God will treat us with same fervor. But really, what a time I have had, and it has just vapourized.
We couldn't even get over the shock that it's all done, we are over with it, the hardest part was gone and now all we do is wait, wait and wait...........
Just after the day we got through with our exams, I, K, S, and D met at a Cafe, it had opened recently and we just wanted to try it out and celebrate the relief of our freedom. Well, the Cafe turned out to be a disastrous place, high price food and no variety. So, we looked for the cheapest item on the menu and got away quickly. We left the place and went for a little drive in HBTI, just breathed the fresh air as we entered the place, listened to the music of the rustling trees and then each of us took our heads out of the car and screamed! And man, there was a real sign of relief and ecstasy there, the feeling of being free. For me, it was even more since I had given great exams, was with friends, and took the charge of the wheels on my own.
"Yeah, real independent", I thought.
For a moment we parked the car and walked under the twilight sky. Then as it grew dark, we ran around as kids on the grass (since no one was there and we got into the mood of burning all the stress out), and there we went, arms stretched out, screaming once again "We are free! We are FREE!" (well, let's say at least for now).
